I realise Bethell has been a disappointment with the bat. Of the English players, Jordan seems to have done well, but not so much anyone else. I see that Duckett has had a mixed time of it. A couple of good knocks, a couple of ducks.

The funny thing about the lack of quality overseas players is that it could be rectified if India let their players compete overseas. But I don't see anyone having enough of a spine to broach that openly.

If he was finding it easy he'd at least be able to rotate the strike, but he's not even close to a run a ball since the powerplay.

This competition gets the level of English player it deserves. I'd expect Duckett to take a SA20 gig next year.

jordan has a rare trait for an englishman (likability) and so it’s no surprise he does well in the bash
