***Official*** Bangladesh in Zimbabwe

Looks like Zimbabwe's ill-discipline with the ball will cost them. Far too many extras.

Great chance for Iqbal to break some Bangladeshi records and if he is there come the end, who knows what he will have. Like Coventry, Iqbal has scored over 50% of his sides runs.
134* - Shakib vs. Canada
129 - Tamim vs. Ireland

Certainly in with a shot.

Still go the five overs of PowerPlay to come. They should cruise it.

Zim's bowling is too reliant on Price and Prosper, neither of whom take many wickets. Need some potency with the new ball.

Wicket or two and everything would change. Tamim going for the big ones.

EDIT:
And theres a wicket

Bangladesh falling apart around Tamim. Basically a rinse and repeat of the Zimbabwe innings.

Powerplay the key for Bangaldesh.

Pitch is a road, but still good times. Congrats to Coventry, fantastic innings. Iqbal has been immense aswell, 150 well played sir!

150 for Tamim. Surely the highest score for a 20 year old? Will check this though.

Edit: Yep

Then its Shakib and then Tamim again.

1st and 3rd highest score ever for a player 20 or younger. WAG

Poor Coventry scored 2 thirds of his teams runs and gets the dubious honour of holding the highest ever innings score in a loss for ODIs.

Bangladesh have Tamim to thank for an excellently timed innings to chase it down and some terrible Zimbabwean bowling.

What's sooo good about this Bangla perfomance?

They did without any contribution from their awesome captain Shakib who has been a little off-colour of late

What an amazing knock from Chappie. I couldn't believe it when I checked the score at work earlier. It is however a shame that Tammin played so well and the other batsmen let Chappie down somewhat.

Didn't call them worthless, Bangers are my second favorite team. They just aren't in the same league as the other top 8. Will be more and more competitive as this team grows up though.
But surely if it's a minnow hitting a record against another minnow, the whole minnows argument falls a bit flat?

Waller is a bigger joke player than Matsikenyeri.
Only because of the role they're using him in, really. He's a batsman who bowls some ocassional offies, and he's not what you'd call a big hitter, especially early in his innings. Instead they're using him as a bowling allrounder to bowl 5+ overs and hit big late in the innings.

I think he should be playing Afghanistan ATM, batting at about 5 and not bowling.
