I see King and Carty were in great form against England. Particularly Carty who seems to have been imperious. King was clearly a big wicket.

Some really good players in this WI team still. Can someone still explain to me what went wrong during the last World Cup cycle?

We need these men out. It's not enough to keep the runs down. On a postage stamp sized ground, this can all change quickly.

Jason Holder got owned by Logan van Beek in the super over of the match we should have won to make it to the 2023 CWC

Holy ****, West Indies's two wins against England are the only series wins they've managed against major nations since the Sri Lanka series in 2020/21. Wow... :-O

The only other ones they've hosted in that time are India and New Zealand, which is a tall order tbf

Still a couple of monster overs away from bringing this back to parity but I'm starting to get encouraged.

Also Athar just said this sort of total has never been chased at this venue, so that helps

It's starting to look pretty difficult for them to get back into this but there's plenty of batting to come. The Deshi bowling has been disciplined.

Boundaries are hard to come by and we are not known to know it around for a single…which means that the dot balls are building up and the NRR is getting steep. Something’s gotta give.

They've been going at the required run rate for the last four. This isn't out of sight yet.

I think another wicket could swing it but we have problems right now. Two batsmen who have properly got their eye in making the most of a small ground.

I dont know how Afif got back into the team. Shamim Patowary probably a better option than him. We are probably few runs short on this pitch.

That Mehidy "anchor" innings was a problem. Couldn't hit it out of the square for a while, mistimed everything and showed no adventure.

Consumed too many balls and bowling crap now. Dont want to be too critical but he seems to be Shakib Minus version 2.0
