Phil Simmons likes him there and he batted there against Afghanistan. Also an occasional opener in T20 in the past.

There's no point playing the anchor role for the sake of it. This is a tiny ground and there's opportunities to score. He's wasted a lot of deliveries through a combination of being in terrible touch and a lack of adventure. The Windies bowling has been decent as well.
