I tend to follow quite a bit of the West Indian Tests, I think Braithwaite is becoming an issue as captain. I don't expect them to pick their T20 stars and have a bash but it seems like the top order batting seems to be moulded around his style of play. It is a saving grace that they have such quality fast bowling as it keeps them in the game more often than not.
They need to consider taking the captaincy of him, his negative batting approach lays a lot of pressure on the rest of the line-up which doesn't have that much experience.

Brathwaite when he bat's with a bit more intent actually looks more comfortable at the crease, perhaps he's become too comfortable with the captaincy. A lack of other options works in his favour, Da Silva's place in the side will come into question sooner rather than later too.

Imlach keeps and JDS opens. I have been saying this for a while. Kraigg is done

Catching up on yesterday's play. Didn't realise Seales and his mates came out sledging and grandstanding every single ball during the early stages.

Yeah, it kicked off at the end of the WI innings when a lot of bouncers were bowled at the tailenders, Roach copped a couple on his helmet. Turns out they got so riled they kind of lost the plot and it was the Bangladeshi batsmen who kept clear heads.

The sledging actually started in the first innings when Seales was bowling challenging the batsmen to hit him. Shamar then gave Jaker a vicious bouncer and the chirping continued.

WI forgot that BD have a speedster…and then Nahid Rana starting chatting with Mikyle Louis and it was just about time that things got really heated.

We are ****ed

With 212 being the highest successful run chase in Tests at Sabina Park, this total is already pushing the Windies into challenging territory.

Not quite sure whats happened when we went to bat. Good batting from us with intent or pitch got flattened a bit. I guess we will find out
I just sent the Cricinfo commentator to ask him his opinion on this.

Bleh, Taijul goes after they change to a harder ball.

Mominul gone now. He did not look well in the brief period he was at the crease.

This new ball is doing all sorts.

Bish doing an interesting analysis of Jaker's unorthodox technique. Bats deep in his crease, walks across the line a lot of the time and tries close the face and glance a lot of deliveries through the leg side. Rarely drives or comes forward and he's a bit like early-days Litton with the lack of off-side shots.

Wonder if it means he'll be in trouble when a team figures out where to bowl and what field to set.

He lacks off side range for sure. He won’t be able to swiftly drive through with that technique. Only good option for him for off side is to play lofted drive through mid off side. He’s good at leg side though as showing in this innings. I think WI carried away bowling short to him

I don't think there was any problem with Jaker giving Taskin three balls to face tbf. He's good enough to be trusted to negotiate that task.
