Santner had 4-15-0 when Bangers were 0-96 / 20 and cruising. Wheels started to fall off when he was half way through his spell. Vettori-like? Yes.

Consolation wicket aside, why do NZ commit such ****ing idiocy in their tactics repeatedly, Henry should NEVER bowl anything in the final ten, let alone the final over.

So who else bowls death with Southee in this team? Neesham? Munro? A spinner?

Nah he has a few times, they're (he) have just been reluctant to bowl him.

Remember his golden arm getting the crucial wicket of Cook in the 2nd Test at Leeds which allowed us to level the series.

Think we are in with a chance here but fizz needs to shine. Wicket does not look easy paced to play slower bowlers but we have ****ing tanbir damn it.

Back to NZ bowling. What concerns me is that both Southee and Boult have been getting wickets but not in the conventional way. When was the last time Southee nicked/edged out someone with a genuine outswinging delivery? Likewise when was the last time Boult set up a batsman LBW or edged with a combination of outswing and inswing deliveries?
