Whats more annoying than not being on Baggygreen - (cricinfo) (doesnt really affect me cause i have no problem with cricket.com.au) is the fact that channel 9 has stopped showing the OD games. And only foxtel has rights now... thats pretty lame :(

I don't think the BNG comments had anything to do with cricinfo being allowed to cover the games. CA just wanted the exclusive rights and traffic for their website and advertisers.

This pitch will be a big test to see where Griffith and Hilfenhaus are really at.

Paine reaches his double ton! 203*! Great stuff and he's only 21. I think our future is pretty safe batting wise.
And a keeper, too. Not sure how he is with the gloves though.

well channel hardly showed any game let alonbe the full game and it's full of commercials.
I'm really glad qith foxtel you get many more full games with little commercials.
Frankly it's worth it Foxtel for cricket. I wish the Ashes were on Fox and not on Channel9

Great to see Justin Langer in the runs, after his career best score when he was playing County Cricket in England. I don't see why some people on these forums feel he should be replaced by Jaques before the Ashes.

At least Langer is in good touch for the first test with 150 of WA's 230. WA are going to find it tough in the pura cup if they keep producing these pitches. Move the 3rd test to Bellerive!

Langer 151 at lunch. Looks like a battle for first innings points given it is the third day and W.A. are still 313 runs behind, unless there can be some generous declarations

Tragic to see the WACA a featherbed - needs to be dug up and returned to its former glory

The only team that can win with declarations is WA, I hope Tasmania doesn't entertain it. They could chase down 300+ in 60 overs on this pitch with their batting line up. It's their rubbish pitch, Tas got the outright points against Queensland so there is no need to gift WA 6 here.

Geeves opens up the game for Tasmania dismissing Voges (4) & Ervine (4) each with the new ball.

Langer 180 & Ronchi 30.

Langer declared 200 behind.

WA have declared at 5/353 givng Tas 1st innings points, Likely to have made an agreement with Tas to set them a total so an outright win is possible for either side.
