Ervine hasnt got much competition though, to be fair...

Batsman will fire, theres too much class there to have them all down at any one time. Unfortunate though that theyre not backed up by a good bowling attack.

I said it would be interesting to see if that decision would come back to haunt Langer. Perhaps he has a case that if those catches were taking it could have been a different story...but that's cricket.

Maybe, but Tasmania's bowling attack is a lot better than Western Australia's or Victoria's for that matter. I guess we'll soon see.

EDIT: Better than Victoria's on current form at least.

Yes, Langer would be having a very rough time of it at 1st slip (that's where I assume he is). It was always going to be a dicey decision to bat first. I bet Dorey & Magoffin are regretting the decision most.

Cricket Australia took over the live coverage of non FTA televised games after the Brown-nosed-gnome comment about Langer was made. Not sure if they had plans to do their own coverage before that incident, but it certainly signaled the end for it.

Either CA has exclusive rights, or they were taken away because a cricinfo commentator referred to Langer as a "brown-nosed gnome" in reference to his relationship with Steve Waugh.

I think the latter is more likely.
