Best looking side so far, would replace jaques with nic maddison tho.
Replace the guy who broke a number of ODD records all of three seasons ago, who is coming back from injury? I would keep him there and let him find some of the form we have seen from him before. Even if he never gets picked for Australia again, he should be leading the NSW batting for a long time to come.

Smith has 6 wkts in 5 ford ranger cup games, doing as well as any spinner, apart frrom xavier doherty.
I notice aaran bird playing grade, but NSW not picking him, must because of the chucking thing,is he still doing rehab,a waste tho 20 wkts last season.

Possibly a bowler short if you ask me. Far too reliant on Henriques and Smith to bowl 10 each (fair risk of both these bowlers going for 60+).

Good win though by NSW. I was thinking game over once they reached 4/78, no real weak link in that Queensland bowling lineup either. Smith batting very well, smart cricketer to have in a chase, and capable of hitting the boundaries when the situation requires.
Agree we could use another strike bowler like ****ley or Bird. Probably best to let Hughes work on his game in the longer form, all these low scores won't be helping his confidence.

South Australia sent into bat. Young James Pattinson to play, hope he does well.

Cricket Australia website has the live stream up for those interested (best concept ever).

Yeah I've heard about this, great concept. Where abouts on the website is the stream? Can't find it, wouldn't mind watching for a little while though.

Interesting, Tasmania declaring 146 behind. Positive move to force a result out of a largely docile Bellerive Oval wicket. By all accounts this is the flattest wicket served up in Hobart, possibly ever. Voges taking some wickets may suggest the pitch may be taking some turn, Krezja becomes the key for any chance of a result.

Ahh gun, I keep checking that page but they haven't put up any streams in the last few weeks.

Yeah great move by George Bailey. WA batted so slow on the first morning, lucky Ronchi batted well and fast on Day 2.

Bailey with another score between 60 and 90.

Re: anyone whatcing Vic vs SA, how did Smith and Hastings look?

Watching the game in small bursts.

Smith was very solid, looked set for a really big score. Playing few risk taking shots, just nudging the ball for singles and two's.

Hastings by far the pick of the bowlers, not much movement, but kept a terrific line. Almost a McDonald style line, just 10 k's quicker. Should have had Klinger for a duck, I think it was Hodge who dropped a pretty easy chance.

Yeh, it's baffling. He's not unfit so you can't blame that for his lack of tons (a la Cosgrove). He doesn't score slowly so it's not as if he takes 200 balls to score 60 then gets tired either.

Did you guys get the stream working? It was working at the start but then it died for me and only now is it back again.

Cheers Noble One.

TC, I think we might just have to accept that he's that sort of player. Of course it would be nicer if he went on with it a bit more, but the fact that he's scoring 60 an innings quite often is pretty good signs. To be fair to him, he did score a 100 quite recently also.

I can't wait until the selectors name the squad for the ODIs this summer, hopefully they find room for Bailey, because I'm guessing Steve Smith will be there.

This steam is bloody awesome, sit back on the comp and watch plain state cricket for free, no annoying commentary just sounds, awesome. If this stays up I'll be consuming a ton of state cricket. The streams pretty light as well and works well, best thing ever.

Reckon they need a watermark of the score (1/145), and they should try and get a stump mike and just stream the audio from that instead of the camera, I don't really care for hearing the camera dude coughing, whistling and laughing.

Besides that I'm happy
