Gee stu clark borken down now,has the blues got any bowlers left :-O
Moises henriues is the captain
Yes, interesting move by the Blues. Hardly a shock decision, possibly the only option (apart from Jaques) to captain the side. Might bring out the best in Henriques, captaincy at a young age hardly killed Cam White's career (well his bowling maybe).

I really would like QLD to bat first and bat all day today, so I can go to the GABBA tomorrow and watch the NSW batsman and the QLD bowlers.

So pleased that Doran has gone.

Redbacks batting pretty well but a little slowly. 2/243, Cosgrove on 84..chance to ton up.

Wonder when the redbacks will declare? they usually make a game of it if they can.

Really torn at the moment. Want both Hughes and Jaques to bat well to push for the national team, but want to see the QLD bowlers rip through NSW.

Could Hastings be a bolter for the national side? New Zealand tour?
Nah, but in the future he could be in the running for the national team, his bowling looks pretty good, big swinger of the ball and swings it both ways, dosen't bowl that fast but bowls a pretty good line and he is a big fella so might get some bounce in some pitches.

Hasting's is an all rounder but he hasn't really showed what he can do with the bat yet, if he starts scoring aswell as taking wickets then he could be a real prospect IMO.

And more importantly, he's played for NSW Second XI before.

Hasto is one of those blokes that grade players never really rate. Never rips through a side, never seems that threatening, but always seems to do the job when he pushed up to the higher grade of FC cricket.

Full credit to Chris Simpson, ripping through the NSW top order. Much improved performances this year for Simpson.
