Excited about the prospects for the rest of this game. Happy Victoria are not running away towards a large first innings total, will keep the game close. Those shield finals where Victoria and Queensland racked up an impossible first innings totals where a total snooze fest.
Plenty will depend on Wade and White making another 100 odd to post a decent first innings total. Queensland line-up has enough firepower to match whatever total Victoria post.

In fairness the Bushrangers have been the best team all season. To go through the entire season without gifting a point to any opposition is a remarkable achievement. In saying that though, would be great to see the Bulls knock 'em off like they did in the Ford Ranger.Given the weather today, and the forecast for the week, looks like the Bushrangers are going to take the Shield through the two sweetest words in the English language - de fault.

Shame to see a whole day washed out, I won't be surprised at all if we see a draw now. However, it is like the format they usually play, because during the regular season they play 4 day games, so perhaps they will approach it like every other match now.

Yeah Wade doesn't look to bad. Hopes bowling himself into an Ahses tour imo. Has been great. Should have 7 wickets by now.

Hopes has been great all season and awesome in the final but i have doubts he'll get the nod as he is probably vying with Mcdonald for a spot and i cant see them dropping him from the squad after a good start to his international career unless he has a poor 3rd test.
