Anyone reckon Doran will bowl over 20 overs for the match?

I reckon he should definitely bowl more over than that hack I'm-captain-so-I-will-bowl-myself-for-50-overs-per-innings Simpson.

I wasn't comment on his level of bowling tbh, just the fact that for the first time in about 5 years the QLD captain hasn't only thrown him the ball after all other options have been exhausted (More often than not Symonds, Simpson, Carseldine would get a bowl before him)

Simpson's fields have been dire imo. No imagination at all. Get a short cover or silly mid on in. Will conceed plenty if he doesn't.

Yeah, I actually liked him as a player back before/during 2003, in one day cricket anyway. Everyone hopping on the bandwagon and then saying he should play Tests, which I always thought was a terrible idea, turned me off him though. That and the dreads.

yeah, i'm a big dizzy fan, but hated the mullet, he did have long hair when he was first selected, but some old caveman gin drinker suggested he get the leuitenant buzzcut to fit in with the etiquette
