Great picture pasag. It's the one redeeming feature of the Junction Oval is the fact you feel so close to the action.

This game has turned into a massive damp squib. Heading towards a draw one feels, unless something dramatic happens over the next two days.

Queensland were terrible today, dropped catches, lucklustre bowling. One of the worst shield finals I can ever recall. Hope Queensland make a real effort of things tommorrow, rather than just play out the match.

Watson certainly hasn't done his side any favours. None of his drops have been difficult either. Hopefully it will encourage him to score at a 600 strike rate in QLDs first innings.

BARNES OUT
Was devo all day watching him.

Don't think the second one was easy though. As a slips fieldsman myself, the hardest ones are the ones that you think might bounce just before you.

Damn, was hoping Watto might have done something amazing this match and bagged an Ashes tour birth. Would have been good to finally see him live in a tour match or something.

Guess I'm pinning my hopes on him getting into the T20 team.

will be interesting to see if Vics put them back in, do they just bat again and draw or do they make queensland follow on and have a chance of winning it?

Victoria would be nuts not to put them back in. Rolled them so far in the first innings, and with not long left tonight, they will be able to come back tomorrow after a good sleep and try to roll them again. Plus, if it rains, time is again in their favor, and if the Bulls make enough runs to make Victoria bat a second time, they will have more time to score them. Plus, it's easier to make runs than take wickets in a short period of time.

No complaints having the Bushrangers bat again despite possibility of enforcing the follow on. Absulutely no incentive for Victoria to do anything other than bat out the day tommorrow, captains will probably shake hands sometime around tea. Victoria are simply playing to the format of the final, such a dissapointing game as far as a contest goes.

No debate that Victoria deserved to win the title. One of the more dominating seasons in Shield history.

Especially disappointing for QLDers.

I'm sure any Queensland fan would be absulutely thrilled with there season. Achieved far beyond expectations, took home the FRC trophy, made the shield final.

A poor showing in a weather ruined final can't take away from what a great season they have had. The exciting thing is Queensland still have some quality players out with injury, hopefully can build upon there gains next season. Biggest challenge is to fill the gap left by Martin Love.

I've enjoyed the match heaps, though yeah, obviously would have been better if it was a contest.

The most disappointing part of the final is the fact that Love won't get to go out with a ton. Unless of course there is some sort of declaration from White.
