Yes, complete. It's a largely unknown fact, that the captain actually prepares the grounds for all home games here.Does the captain has any input in pitch preparation in Australia?

Or unfair advantage of batsmen over bowlers. Roads are also bad pitches.Bad wicket: Poorly prepared wicket that affords bowlers an unfair advantage over batters.
hang on. Who is jbmac in real life? Also, @JBMAC I heard Kim Hughes on the radio yesterday afternoon speaking about you in fairly glowing terms.
Yes it does sound absurdI know it may sound absurd but like neutral umpires why don't we have an ICC Elite Curators who prepare pitches for Test series. Imagine, the ICC appoints groundsmen from India and England to prepare pitches for this Australia South Africa series. There will be no home advantage and an fairer contest.
You really are an idiot. It has been explained in detail to you the pitch conferred no home advantage and if anything helped SA by reducing Aus' batting advantage.I know it may sound absurd but like neutral umpires why don't we have an ICC Elite Curators who prepare pitches for Test series. No harm giving it a try. I mean with that home captains will not influence the home curator.Yes it does sound absurd
I didn't mean that. You misunderstood me. Anyways, forget it.You really are an idiot. It has been explained in detail to you the pitch conferred no home advantage and if anything helped SA by reducing Aus' batting advantage.
My understanding of your comment was perfectly consistent with your other comments, including your following one:I didn't mean that. You misunderstood me. Anyways, forget it.

If not in Australia but captains do influence in places like India, Pakistan and rest. It's well known that Dhoni and Kohli instruct their curators. My understanding of your comment was perfectly consistent with your other comments, including your following one:
Also South Africa. And there is no problem with it unless it goes to far. Like most things in life!If not in Australia but captains do influence in places like India, Pakistan and rest. It's well known that Dhoni and Kohli instruct their curators.
Anyways, sorry for that.
Will they make same MCG ashes 2017 pitch?
That would be terrible, but who knows Aus might still be able to take 20 wickets with this SA line-upWill they make same MCG ashes 2017 pitch?
Even SA can easily take 20 Aus wickets. 35/4 really made them tremble for a while and made them realize that this SA team will come hard and hurt them in the next Test. That would be terrible, but who knows Aus might still be able to take 20 wickets with this SA line-up
No. I've never heard of that happening in in AustraliaDoes the captain has any input in pitch preparation in Australia?
You do realize Khawaja & Smith both played the kind of shots which you only play when you're in pursuit of 35, right? But SA's bowling is not their issue. The problem is their batting, which is lamentable tstl.Even SA can easily take 20 Aus wickets. 35/4 really made them tremble for a while and made them realize that this SA team will come hard and hurt them in the next Test.
