*Official* Australia vs Pakistan in England

Just wondering if Pakistan are starting to wish they'd claimed the extra half hour - would have been 40 to win off 7 or 8 overs. Having a new batsman in wouldn't have helped, though.

I thought that would be a good strategy because the unexprience Pakistani batting line up would come under pressure and won't play thier natural game..that is exactly they are doing.. they are throwing thier wicket away simply because they are defending.. instead of attacking.. a tailender like aamir could attack freely thinking that they have batsman coming in next after him..

but pakistan is going to lose this anyways..
No a chance in hell are you guys losing this. You're making a meal of it, sure, but it's still in the bag.

A couple playing county cricket. I'm thinking Rogers mainly. I'm completely convinced that Chris Rogers should be opening the batting for Australia at this point.

Katich, Rogers, Watson, Ponting, Clarke, Hussey.. just looks so much stronger to me.
Rogers should definitely be given an opportunity but he wont so I've given up advocating his selection

Funny how personality can be used as a reason for omission but lack of form isnt

Ha, all the Aussies talking their chances down. Shouldn't win, yeah, but...
Nah, see no way we can win this. Kamran actually seems able to bat under pressure every now and then, unlike the rest, and with 15 or whatever runs to go it only takes a streaky boundary or two and you're there.

The chaps in green shirts are starting to look a bit less anxious now. Good to see Inzi there lending his support. :D
