Jadeja has sucked today.

He has been disappointing in ODIs for many years now. Hitting ability has regressed a lot. In tests he hits a lot of sixes, because he can wait for the right ball to hit. ODIs do not allow that unfortunately. Also not good in rotating the strike.

Jadeja is classic no rounder in this format. Worse actually because unlike other no rounders he plays not as 5th bowler but one of the front line 4 bowlers.

He's the all-time best Indian fielder though.

That's a little over the top. It's a little concerning though, Dhawan seems to be in a slump at th worst possible time.

could swear the same thing happened prior to the 2015 WC. article after article on whether Dhawan will rediscover his mojo and then it clicked. Can't really leave him out but Rahul has to open if he plays. Plus he gives us some variety in the batting order being a leftie. Also doesn't look like Rayudu and Jadhav will be dropped after we have invested in them for the past 2 years. Not really sure what we can do tbh.

India's top order is settled I reckon. Jadeja looks like a domestic one day #4 - out of position and more importantly out of his depth in this team.

Yeah he's so far ahead of Sachin in ODIs at this point its crazy. Rest of India's batting is starting to look really **** though

sachin played against better bowling opposition. Waqar, Wasim, West indies greats, Glenn mcgrath, Brett lee, Shane bond, Pollock ,Donald and prime Steyn. list goes on.

Tired old argument, and wrong. Take out all the innings when he faced those great bowlers and he'd still not be close to Kohli.
