Not sure but he looked an awesome fielder when he was twelfth man at Guyana

I thought you were brilliant?!Rik said:I'm tall, that doesn't make me good
It's actually Dave Bernard Jr. (not Barnard- dam Ceefax ). He's a very good batsman and outstanding fielder. He also bowls effectively with medium pace. Quite a talent for the future. IMO, he's more suited to limited overs, but he had a brilliant Carib Cup this year.Rik said:Who is this D Barnard who appears in the extended squad list?
Yeh but we weren't comparing Banks to you Rik. We're talking about cricketers good enough to play for Leicestershire second XI .Rik said:I'm tall, that doesn't make me good
After he lobs it? :wow: :PCloete said:i think he just lobs them down and rolls his fingers over the ball to spin it a bit
Gayle is actually an outstanding ODI bowler (for a part timer) and I always though Sarwan was a good bowler. He actually turns it a good bit....much more than Nagamootoo. He also picked up a 6 for 20-odd a couple years back for Guyana. He should be given a go because, if it works, he could be very useful in the future. Not many teams have a 6th bowler who bowls legspin.Rik said:What do you think? Gayle and Sarwan might pick up a few wickets too, Sarwan has allways been a useful bowler in my eye.
lol i think u know wat i meanMr Mxyzptlk said:After he lobs it? :wow: :P
Sound like you've got the English injury bug!Mr Mxyzptlk said:Jacobs is definitely out (groin muscle torn).
Lawson is out now. He's fallen ill to that dreaded and feared disease of...(wait for it - drum roll please)....CHICKEN POX!!!
Dam you chickens!
In many ways yes...as a spinner I'm just plain "useful" thoughmarc71178 said:I thought you were brilliant?!
I think that 6for was against England A as well! Ian Ward was scoring centuries for fun as wellMr Mxyzptlk said:Gayle is actually an outstanding ODI bowler (for a part timer) and I always though Sarwan was a good bowler. Yeah bowling average of about 22 and 50odd FC wickets...looks rather similer to Anderson'sMr Mxyzptlk said:Tino Best wil replace Lawson in squad. If anyone doesn't know who he is (likely), he's a very talented, very quick young pace bowler. He was extremely impressive this season with over 35 wickets in the Carib Cup at a SR of laround 27. He's about 20 or 21 years of age.
I bowl with a lot of energy on a fullish length and slip in the odd overspun top-spinner that takes off. Let's see if I can turn it on proper pitches rather than indoor nets...before you lot get too judgemental :PCloete said:i think he just lobs them down and rolls his fingers over the ball to spin it a bit
What about the one which you bowl with double the speed but with the same actionRik said:I bowl with a lot of energy on a fullish length and slip in the odd overspun top-spinner that takes off. Same speed, a very minor change in the action and grip (just looks like I'm trying to spin it with one finger on the seam).vishnureddy said:What about the one which you bowl with double the speed but with the same action
