I think he might sit out the next game and play Katich.
My gut feeling is that Haddin, Katich, Williams and Lee will play the next match with Gilchrist, Hayden, Gillespie and possibly Harvey/Bevan rested.

With the Test players in SL now, Lehmann may just sneak in if Bevan is injured - selectors will be keen to rest Gilly and Hayden for sure.

I would like to see(but won't) Justin Langer play in the 5th ODI. I have watched him play the one-day game on telly and I think he deserves a run.

I'm not sure that Australia will tinker with the lineup too much. There's not much of a point to it, I think. Perhaps Bevan won't play (thank God), which would see Katich in. But Kasprowicz won't rest and I can imagine that Lee would come back instead of Williams (if either is to come back). If Gilchrist wants a rest then Haddin will come in.

So the lineup could be absolutely anything, but this is still the final match and Australia should look to go in with full intensity.

Look's like Ponting has decided to rest himself for this match along with Hayden and Gillespie.

Unless it was 2-2, I think he was going to have a break once the series was won.

Two short deliveries from Lee swing it the Lankans' way...

Kaspa's got two overs left, they might bring back Symonds or Williams too...

Was there any rhyme or reason to Gilchrist bringing Lee back and continuing with Hogg?

I realise that it's a dead rubber and half the team is out, etc, but surely Kasprowicz and Williams were better options, in tandem with Symonds? Perhaps he was sure the game was going to reach 50 overs... Feels like fumbling the game to me, when the Aussies were so close.

It'll kill his 100% success rate in one-dayers when Sri Lanka wins this. Strange game.

I know it's easy from the sidelines, but Kasper's maiden really does make Gilchrist look a little silly. Of course, after those two boom overs, the Sri Lankans can certainly afford to play out one or two maidens.
