Hey I am always chilled out, I am a true ruuudebwouy! However when I ever I argue, I argue to the degree where it really annoys people! I thrive on this but am not a person to get upset easily in an argument, so take me on if you dare and I will dismiss you!:D

Now, Now ladies. Bracken is a f**ken good left arm quick but he just can't get a go. Also consider Zaheer Kahn and Ashsish Nehra.

Ah no. Especially in Tests.

This intrigues me:

Damien Martyn, Jason Gillespie, Matt Hayden, and Adam Gilchrist are taking the game off that starts today. Now Martyn is the man lacking some confidence and perhaps needs the opportunity to make a big score to get himself pumped for the 1st Test.

So I would think Katich would open.

Also the interesting thing I have read in the paper today is that the only certainies are for the 1st Test are: the top 4, Gilchrist and Jason Gillespie.

Logically you would think Warne would be as with Katich are certainies, but you never know what goes through the selectors heads.

Selectors given even more headaches with Katich, Lehmann & Symonds all scoring runs.

Langer - 36
Ponting - 116
Katich - 116
Lehmann - 134
Symonds - 45*
Secombe - 0
Warne - 8

Herath - 3/132
Samaraweera - 1//70

Stumps - Day 1.

i think Symonds might miss out on the first test but will come in if anyone plays badly for the 2nd test.

i was amazed on the news this morning where Lehmann was batting from off the pitch (outside leg) hes in good form and all but that still seems a little crazy to me

Yeah i saw that on the news 2nite...
WOW he was basically off the pitch and still middled it and sent the ball to the point boundary... Thats top form....

Also the aussies declared at their overnight score and have the SL's 7/130, with Binga taking 4 of the 7 to fall...

Warne 1 0 1 0

Why has Potning given Warne only one over? Many dubious methods in his captaincy already...

its ok i got it...

and its not stumps yet so expect Warnie to get a few more yet...

Symonds pushes his claims with an unbeaten 120, the Aussies looking lethal... I honestly think if Martyn makes the side for the 1st test he will be extremely lucky...

That's a bit harsh on Martyn - I'm sure if he weren't being rested here, he'd have got a ton or so.

maybe so marc but IMO the others are playing to well to be left out and Martyn has yet to post a decent score on tour....

I read in the paper that Ponting said Martyn was being rested because he was a certanty for the first test.

If that is the case then its a joke, The guy has been out of form so why waste a opportunity to get some runs...

I feel the others have passed him now and he must sit out...

Martyn will play.

For me, I'd look at the following:

Hayden
Langer
Ponting (c)
Martyn
Lehmann
Katich
Gilchrist (wk)
Warne
Lee
Gillespie
Kasprowicz

Thats the team I would go with as well.

I would not be giving Martyn to many more opertunity's if he fails badly in the first test I would swap him for Symonds.

It's hardly fair on Martyn but thats life.
