big deviation too. If upstairs ump could call for a review, he'd be walking. can't help but think saffers will get another chance soon anyway
The process really isn't fast enough for the 3rd ump to go over most appeals before the next ball is bowled IMO. Leave it with the players.

Anyone see that ad on Fox then for Britain's Toughest Cops?

Showed a cop as a girl about 5'6" in a right dress and heels ran into him.

Man they're tough.

Oooh. He's hit that.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing with that Pom cop, you'd think they'd have had better footage of a TOUGH COP INCIDENT than some chick running into a cop.

wrong thread so this is the last one for me, but blind freddy could see that was worth a replay, and after a quick replay a closer look. They have earpieces and such.

Don't blame the ump for not giving it, they are a bastard to pick, and was near the pad. He'd be thinking probably out but I have doubt. Right decision. Shouldn't be up to Smith wherever he is in the field to work out how much doubt.

Cracking shots by Hughes in this innings. Lovely to watch. He is heaps like Bevan - ugly in defence but glorious when attacking.

If he eventually makes it as a successful test regular, it'll go down as some kind of feat to have basically gone about rebuilding an entire technique while playing at the highest level.

He still has much to do, of course, but he's now back and across, not back and away. Just too chest on in back foot defense. If he fixes that he could be a very formidable player.
