wouldn't argue with that
I think Warne will be the difference between the two sides.

The batting sides are good for both. Australia look stronger on paper. The bowling attacks are not great with the exception of Warne.

Unless S. Africa suddenly discover how to tackle him, I dont see how they can overcome this handicap?

EDIT : Must confess. looking at the last series in Australia, they seem to have played him pretty well except for one innings (2nd innings at Melbourne). They seem to play him better than what picture I had in mind.

9.3 Kasprowicz to de Villiers, OUT: full and nips back thru the gate as
de Villiers drove when he shouldnt have been

Kasprowicz with first blood. Big blow to SA, they would have been looking for a solid opening partnership, atleast to see of the opening bowlers.

Is Mcgill also playing?? Would be interesting to see how the SA handle McGill, he is one of the most underrated and under-utilized spinner in the world.

First maiden of the game bowled by Lee to Gibbs. Kaspa needs to get some timing going, 5th no-ball for the night.

Demolition Man

State Vice-Captain
Alam dar simply can not get any LBW decisions involving an inside edge ( or a non-inside edge) correct on a consistent basis. He really struggles with that aspect of umpiring.

He has given away almost 1/5 of SA runs. His no-balls are only one behind AB de Villiers run count.

What do you mean Demolition Man? Would you care to explain the Ponting/selectors comment for me?

I'm not watching it (I can't) but I presume Symonds bowled medium pacers...

Good luck to Stuart Clark! :)

EDIT: Great start for Clark! Maiden over!

And now he's got a wicket! :D
