Alright, I'll be the first to say it.

Is 400 a possibility? I'm saying no, but when you look at their batting to come-- Martyn, Symonds, Clarke and Lee-- there's no doubt that those guys can hit. I'm expecting something in the region of 360 though.

As is everyone else in my family...

I say to just look at the smaller milestones first - eg: 300, then 350 etc...

EDIT: Come on Cricinfo...update! I want to see Punter on 100+, he's on 99 according to Cricinfo...

I think its certainly possible, but we'd need Ponting to continue on and Syumonds to come in next.

Hussey getting in on the act now-- 4,6,4.

Kallis is getting absolutely hammered, 5 overs for 58!

I know, Kallis is getting hammered.

It's funny that Ponting gets his hundred against Smith...:)

Geez, I just noticed Ponting has 5 sixes and 10 fours so far. As Demolition Man just pointed out, 100 needed off the last 10 for 400.

Does this go back to the 'Ponting not a proper captain' jibe?
No, more ponting jumping on smith using the word choke in relation to the aussies after the last match, which as we know the aussies won.

Warnie absoulutly blasted smith today calling him the worst South african captian to ever tour australia etc.

Aussies are using smiths comments as ammo, even if they have to exacerbate there meaning.

Im going to say the 400 is on, as long as quick wickets dont fall, i dont see us getting any less, Ponting, Hussey, and symonds not in yet, thats lethal. Bring on the 400!

Haha, just got home, and to some delight. :D

Simon Katich has done alright, but still way too many dot balls for my liking. Gotta be liking the look of 400. SA really missing Pollock.

Go Australia go.

Big Rog's figures a awesome considering the rest of them
Yeah he's gone great all things considered. RR of under 5 when Australia's RR is almost 7.5 isn't bad.

Edit: Well, he's over 5 now.

Aussies will go for the world record here. The key is symonds. He must be there @ the 47 over mark.
symonds won't be needed if these two bat on.. they can do it themselfs both are great hitters.

I think that they would be looking for Ponting and Hussey to take them to 400, they can both hit the ball well, and they have their eye in. Sure Symonds might pay off, but he might get out too.

Haha, I don`t have cable or MSN or CricInfo. The depths one must surge!

Hussey first ODI 100? I wish. :D
