***Official Australia in South Africa***

State Vice-Captain
I don't understand why it's so hard for people to believe Stuart Clark isn't at test level. This is the guy who was called into the Ashes squad (though he didn't play) because of his form with Middlesex. He's also the person who was Australia's best bowler in the ODI's in South Africa.Really no cricketer averages more than 2 wickets an ODI, and Clark's good for one or two.

Nobody really knew (I guess some Aussies here might have) how he'd go in tests. I guess it's the propoganda of "Australia have no good bowling talent coming up." There's Aussies I've heard of (but haven't seen) who are getting decent reputations. Right now the Aussies are looking for the right pair in ODI's... which is fine. In tests today, all their bowlers (except Warne) did a very good job.

When Warne and McGrath go, I don't know if Australia will be world number one. But with names like Hussey... I personally think Australia will definitely remain top three and will always be challenging.

Great start by Australia last night. Sitting there watching the match, I was waiting for the pitch to settle down into an absolute 'belter' but, because there was no sunshine, it just didn't happen. Good bowling by Clark to exploit the prevailing conditions. Can't help feeling, though, that the real test for him will come when the conditions are more benign.

It would make all his hard work worthwhile.
and what award would you like to have? the sweet girl of the week award. That would be such an appropiate award for your annoying, stupid & brainless attacks and comments you have made towards me all week.

To be fair, practically everyone was dubious about Clark's selection. In fact, I'd say you can remove the practically from that. If anyone expected him to do well, they certainly didn't say so before play began.
I said he'd do well, maybe not on the forums but the people i spoke to on msn about him.I'm a massive fan of him, he's McGrath Jnr.

Clark > Kasper.... and that's not only after last nights effort either.

Here we go then...Day 2

The problem with Ntini yesterday bowling wise was that even though he did not concede many runs he just didnt put pressure on the openers and did not make them play hence wasting the new ball. Lets see how he does today

No. But they only care about how much Harbhajan or Murali or Akhtar chucks. They aren't rising to my bait through arguing between themselves.

Here we go. Saying India or Pakistan would be good if they had an opener like Hayden stirred them.

Me: I disagree Jag. I feel that Dravid and Dhoni suck more than Sreesnath. And dont even get me started on the rubbish that is Munaf Patel

Response: andyc you suck in this entire forum... yukkkkk
