I have to say this is probably the worst that I have ever seen Warne bowl - full tosses, long hops, licorice allsorts if ever I saw it.
Yeah, he's been pretty average. Only bowled a few overs though, and he hasn't played any international cricket for 3 months and a bit. I'm sure he'll the mark later in the game.

Cricbuzz just changed it's commentary from Ntini hitting a four on the last ball of that over to him just getting a single. What's really happening?

According to CricInfo the ball stopped just before the rope and Ntini and Nel just ran one. Probably thought it was 4 too :)

Ntini thought it had reached the boundary so stopped running. Boje caught him up but had to go back. :-D

Well, at least after this innings has concluded Mark Boucher will still have the best bowling average of everyone involved :p

Afternoon everyone!

I got in from Uni today and switched the Tv on straight away and was quite suprised to see SA on 113-6. i was even more suprised, but in a more pleasent way, to see Clark had taken four of the wickets.

I think the low score in the end was down to a combination of good (sometimes great) bowling coupled with poor poor batting.

Clarks debut was certainly a highlight of the innings but I think that Brett Lee deserves equal credit. 3-37 from 14 overs, including two maidens, is great bowling. Symonds did his holding job well, and Warne seemed to get some good turn on the ball but his bowling wasnt anything special.

Batting wise there isnt much to say. The tailenders did a reasonable job with Ntini and Nel producing a decent last pair partnership and Boje doing a good job.

Lets see how the Aussies innings go
