Agreed about Warne and you can add McGrath as well. But attack of Starc-Haz-Siddle is more than decent and not sure about batting being vastly superior in these conditions. Current lot is as good as they come on concrete slabs

And all those calling for Morkel... you realize he is a back of length bowler. Every-time he pitches full, which he struggles to do, its like he floats it up. He would have been great for roughing some batsmen up but I`m not sure if he would have got any more wickets... Abbott maybe should have played though.

He has the height for these kind of Aussie pitches that batsmen wouldn't know whether to drive or play the horizontal bat shots if he hits the right length. Steyn and Philander lack the height to contain Warner on a pitch like this.

Important point highlighted...... And if any bowlers should be pitching full and nipping/seaming the ball its Philander and Steyn. Considering thats what they have done successfully for most of their entire career.

Warner absolutely feasts on short of a length pace bowling on tracks where there is true bounce and not much movement. His record in England is however not that impressive so I suspect he is troubled a bit more when there is some deviation. Having said that, he has lots of starts in England which he didn't convert so perhaps he might cash in big on his next tour.

You don't have to go that far Langer, Hayden, Ponting, M Waugh, S Waugh, Martyn etc are all ahead of the current lot. Only Warner and Smith are in that class from the current lot

True that but his height gives him more margin for error on length. Abbott would've been a good choice for the same reason.
