Can't be outdone by his younger and more inexperienced Australian counterpart who batted through a similar injury.SA don't even need him to be out there tbh. Feels a bit unnecessary.

Good grief, theres always oneSouth Africa are the team with the minimum level of ambition, the maximum fear of a choke; even Bangladesh, if they were in a like position, would have got a move on..
I wish they would make T20 domestic, franchise stuff... every 2/4 years have a WC. Less ODI's as well.Really enjoying this chat about where the game of cricket is.
Context for test cricket. Make 2 divisions.
Promote test cricket more
No restrictions for 50 over cricket
Make T20s only domestic
Couldn't agree more. Been saying it for ages.I wish they would make T20 domestic, franchise stuff... every 2/4 years have a WC. Less ODI's as well.
I'd love two divisions if all it did was impose a compulsory FTP set of three-match (or more) series on teams within their own division which the ICC bore the costs of, leaving the option for additional Tests outside that across divisions if they wanted. That could be awesome. Most actual proposals for two divisions if anything go the other way though, giving teams less incentive/compulsion to play Tests and having the ICC financially support them less in doing so. It's something that could really be awesome or terrible depending on the implementation and which interest group managed to capture the process.Really enjoying this chat about where the game of cricket is.

Very much this... can you image if we had a 5 ODI's and 3 T20's still left in this tour...For 50-over cricket. I won't lie I am a fan as it still allows good players to do well but stop 7 match ODI series and repetitive series. I like your idea of making ODI tours seperate to test tours as much as possible too.
