I heard a former test player interviewed during the week who claimed that the nets these days are better than many test pitches that they used to play onTo be fair, with the constant change from Tests to T20s to ODIs, and the fact we haven't played a Test since December it's no wonder on a pitch with a bit of movement we're in the situation like this.
It also doesn't help matters that most cricket pitches these days are batting paradises that don't really test techniques and give players records that are totally undeserved.
