You got to live with some things. You just have to check the live scores. It is better than nothing.

I remember during the 2001 series, they were showing a free netcast on dd.nic.in ( or was it doordarshan.nic.in ?) .....Dont know if theyre doing it this time given the telecast row. Try those links and let us know :)

I still don't agree. The ball didn't straighten enough and would have comfortably missed legstump. Its a shame they don't have hawkeye in this series.

p.s. I'm not angry about an Australian getting out - I'm worried out the continued poor standard of umpiring in this series. The Indians got some very poor decisions in the first test including both openers in the second innings. It cost Chopra his place and maybe his career.

Gilchrist out for 3 - Australia 6/210 and in trouble.

Nah, Clarke was plumb. Easily hitting leg stump. Keep in mind how far back he was.

haha i like your avy sehwag.. saw that ball on the news.. its funny watchin the way pathan bowled him out by a blinder of a ball.. and he knew he was out and with the momentum he was in from his shot, just started walking towards the team dressing room..

what happens if the batsman constantly pulls away due to this happening? If the guys running into bowl and doing it (as I read in an article somewhere, may not be even close to the truth) then it'd be hard to do it so the umpire wouldn't hear it.

Seriously...It is a test match, first of all it would be a cricket on the verge of the psychiatric ward that would do it continually. And the captain wouldn't be worth their salt if the allowed the player to do it. I'd say the Match Referee would get stuck into both the captain and the player. The Umpires are not there to police the game - like telling the captain he has three behind square on the legside, but is there to adjudicate.

It is live but not free?
Free, Oh no...not a chance, unless someone does a webcast thingy like I did during Asia Cup

But they are offering this series, SA series and 1 Ind/Pak match for $104..which is a steal as they usually charge India games close to $200
