**Official** Australia in India Thread

Nothing like 50-50, I'd call it 90-10. It's looking a little better now with 35 to go, but it would still take a stunner for Australia to win it.

First four hit in a test match. I haven't hit a four in my life in a proper match. If I hit one, I would be dancing with excitement.

Hmm, Hauritz gone. I can't say I think much of the umpiring decision, that would have missed leg by a fair margin.

Those are the breaks I suppose, going to take a miricle now with 29 to get and 2 wickets left.

Hauritz might have got a shocker, but who's complaigning? Some of the ones India got this series, it evens the balance, although you could argue for it being out.

It has to be said - Hauritz's 2/87 in the second innings looks pretty dreadful in the context of this match.
Not really when you consider his first class career record. It also has to be said that he was bowling to when Tendlukar and Laxman were in full flight, and he did dismiss both of them.

You also have to consider he had Kaif caught, but wasn't given out, he had Laxman dropped twice once by Katich and one by Clarke. He also had catches drop short, he could have easily had 5 or 6 wickets.

I agree. Plus I never see the point in becoming livid at umpiring decisions. It was a shocker and it came at a very bad time, but there's nothing that can be done about it now.

Is rain predicted for the next two days?

If Australia lose this, its because they didn't have the patience. Gillespie is showing that you can survive for a while.

Or it could be all the dust in their eyes.

Yeah, but his ordinary first class career record hardly gets him off the hook, particularly when comparing him to other slow bowlers in the very same match.

I appreciate that he eventually got Tendulkar and Laxman, but it's the runs they milked him for that really hurt us.

Cant believe Clarke got 6 wickets. I mean, yeah he's decent, but it just shows how shocking that pitch is. So happy for Laxman to get those runs too, hes one of my favourites

Unbelievable ending to what I thought was going to be a massive anticlimax to the series. So good!!

Sounds like this game is going to go into tomorrow... Can Gillespie pull it off? I don't think so, but it's getting a little interesting...
