If you are an Australian (or from any other cricketing country) and not equally terribly disappointed, it would be very surprising. No ??
I've had my say and I stand by it. I think that it is good that there was not one climax; instead we have seen 4 days of cricket, each one as captivating as the others.

Well, if you want hear different perspectives here's one that will hold water (no pun intended):

Ganguly cannot be faulted if he is thinking that in Bangalore, the two umpires did India in and here in Chennai, the weather is calling the shots.

And of course the fact that Australia played the better Cricket is irrelevant at Bangalore 8-)

Spot on. Really disappointing that the match is going to be a draw. But that is how it is.
This may end up ruining the whole series. We may go to Nagpur and geta draw out of it ( I hope not) and come to the last test and the best India can hope for is to square a series and Australia in a situation where a draw is good enough to win the series.

I'd say that India are now effectively out of this series. Chennai was our best chance, and the rain gods have taken a potential victory away from India.

The Australian batsmen will surely capitalise in Nagpur, where there is hardly any support for bowlers. Things aren't looking to good for India at the moment.

Here's hoping Sachin Tendulkar makes a comeback at Nagpur and going to Mumbai, hopefully we're all 1-1.

The toss could be crucial particularly at Mumbai -- although Australia did win there putting India in last time, I think both sides are very reluctant about fielding first. India feel their best chance lies in batting first and I get the impression the Aussies aren't overly keen on playing the Indian spinners batting last.

There's a strong feeling Nagpur may result in a draw -- the pitch there is reputedly extremely good for batting.

1.5 sessions is enough for either side to push a result, though it gives india the advantage as they can just shut up shop if they lose a couple of wickets.

Doubt it if it is going to be enough for India. Five runs an over in test matches is very tough with different interpretation of the wide. It can always be prevented.

In this curtailed time, if available, the only results possible would be a draw or an Aussie victory.

Everyone is upset that it wan't an exciting days play with a close finish, but everything is possible.

As no-on was expecting this sudden dose of rain.

Of all places, they put the test at Nagpur!

The Mohali ground in Chandigardh is one of the best test match cricketing grounds in India, with plenty of help for the faster bowlers and batsmen, with some spin on day's 4 and 5.

But no, Nagpur it is. No matches in Eden Garden, the home of Indian Cricket either. Shame really.

You just can't help some things. No one could stop the rain today and no one will change the venue even if they could IMO.
