India's death bowling has become very un-Indian.

Would you say this has been a good series for bat v ball contest? Only one game saw 300+ score.

Is this the first time India have had the best death bowling in world cricket? Certainly feels that way.

Whatever it takes!!!
There was a time when we had Kapil and Prabhakar at their reverse swinging best. They were not the best in the world as the Ws were hunting as a pair at the same time but at least within India they were as good a bowling pair as you could hope to get. I will have to wait and see how these two go outside of the SC type conditions though. On harder tracks with more bounce, the definition of good length becomes different.

I know this has been mentioned a million times but Bhuvi has really surprised me with the amount of pace he generates now a days.

I guess McGrath must be a pretty good bowling coach. Ever since he's come along India's fast bowling stocks have improved dramatically.

Nah.. Most of these guys are still from the time DK Lillee was heading it. Also, as an aside, those guys who are really good foundation level coaches dont always traslate into good caoches in a national team set up.

Rahane has batted quite beautifully at times this series, despite his ordinary overall ODI record.

Nice comment (WOW) in crapinfo there...

"Rahane plays according to format and gets out. 30s in T20, half centuries in ODIs and hundreds in tests. A complete player!"

Great comprehensive win and performance for India. :)

Given we've generally struggled to beat Australia even at home in this format, this is nice. Always great to be treated to the sight of Rohit in beast mode as well. :)
