Well would your prefer Steve Smith non-batting, non-bowling, fielding allrounder.
It's not about whether Haddin should be playing, as such.

Having him play as a specialist batsman would be completely absurd given he's a better keeper than Wade. If he plays, he keeps. If he bats ahead of Wade and doesn't keep wicket then I just won't have the words.

There is no way in hell Haddin is playing over Smiffeh as a specialist batsman. Smiffeh has been on tour as a reserve bat, he's next cab off the rank.

I think Smith gets a harder time over his batting than he should, I've got way more trust in him to dig in and make runs than Wade.

And yeah, didn't want to make my point actually about Smith, but I do think he's a better chance to make runs on these wickets than Haddin - and for that matter, Khawaja, Maxwell or Wade.

Can they not just play the next test, FFS. Give us something else to talk about.

**** me, it's been two weeks since the last one, what the hell have they been doing over there?

For the life of me, I can't understand why a tour match wasn't scheduled. Australia needs the practice and maybe this whole report writing cluster**** could have been avoided if the team was actually on the park doing what they are ****ing over there to do ffs.

What? Its been one week, and it feels like a longer gap because Australia lost the match in the first session of day 4...

and then you add in the fact that Haddin does not have a ****ed ankle, and Wade, even if he plays, clearly does have a ****er ankle....if they both play, Haddin has to keep.

Thought provoking but I dont agree with much of what he says

For example, he says that he cannot imagine getting players of yesteryear to attend his workshops

If a time machine could bring one of those players into 2013 (say Ian Chappell), I'd imagine that the conversation would go something like this

Jeh: Chappelli, we've been having problems with our South Australian no. 3

IC: What ****ing problems?

Jeh: He doesnt score any runs

IC: Drop him

Jeh: Well we havent got anyone in Australia that averages more than 12 at the moment and that is why we've recalled you

IC: No problemo. My granddad Vic bowls faster than Sharma and he's been dead for 40 years and their spinners cant hold a candle to that guy with a turban that I used to smack around

Jeh: There is one catch. You will need to attend seminars on responsible drinking, gambling and treatment of women every year and it will take about 10 hours of your time. You will also need to behave yourselves when representing Australia at any time in any place and that means no drinking or rooting around

IC: **** off! (sets his bacardi on the table and makes for the door)

Jeh: Ian, before you leave, arent you interested in how much we are going to pay you?

IC: 30 grand? 40 grand?

Jeh: Try 1.5 million ++++++++++++++++++++

IC: Where do I sign?

Alright, Mickey, I know you're upset at your "vindictive school principal" portrayal by our irreverent local journalists but kvetching about backchat?

Honestly.

Well known that Gibbs had a drinking problem when Mickey was coach of SA and that he went on a massive drinking session the night before the ODI where SA chased down 438 with Herschelle making a huge score

Different attitude towards players behaviour when team is winning obviously
