Thought provoking but I dont agree with much of what he says
For example, he says that he cannot imagine getting players of yesteryear to attend his workshops
If a time machine could bring one of those players into 2013 (say Ian Chappell), I'd imagine that the conversation would go something like this
Jeh: Chappelli, we've been having problems with our South Australian no. 3
IC: What ****ing problems?
Jeh: He doesnt score any runs
IC: Drop him
Jeh: Well we havent got anyone in Australia that averages more than 12 at the moment and that is why we've recalled you
IC: No problemo. My granddad Vic bowls faster than Sharma and he's been dead for 40 years and their spinners cant hold a candle to that guy with a turban that I used to smack around
Jeh: There is one catch. You will need to attend seminars on responsible drinking, gambling and treatment of women every year and it will take about 10 hours of your time. You will also need to behave yourselves when representing Australia at any time in any place and that means no drinking or rooting around
IC: **** off! (sets his bacardi on the table and makes for the door)
Jeh: Ian, before you leave, arent you interested in how much we are going to pay you?
IC: 30 grand? 40 grand?
Jeh: Try 1.5 million ++++++++++++++++++++
IC: Where do I sign?
