Does the stadium need repairing?Looks like school children are entering the stadium now. We can make more a judgement of the crowd over the weekend to be fair.
Honestly, I did forget about the 08 tour. Scorched from the memory banks :Ptbh I think Aus is a lot better now than they were in 08 when they came. The fact that Australia are batting first doesn't help either. The truth is India have A LOT of cricket stadiums all over the Country. But not all should be hosting test matches. Giving test matches to places like Mohali and Gwalior is like Aus playing a test match at Canteburry or Caneburry (sorry I forget the name).
Batting in Philadelphia is he?I'm getting the Indian feed right now. This is borderline unwatchable...how are there people who still watch cricket in India?
Also Ponting on 10...wow. That's like a century for him over here.
I know he's hardly a proper seamer, but Collingwood bowls em pretty much exclusively now; seam up is his variation. One of those days to cut the run-up and bowl cutters, tbh.
Genuine question; why does no-one do this any more?
Sri Lanka too in 2004. Hayden's twin tons in that 2nd test were most good.Honestly, I did forget about the 08 tour. Scorched from the memory banks :P
I hear you, though. Whenever Australia plays Bangladesh at home, they play at stadiums in the North of the country during Winter. Can never see them being used for games against big fish like India, though.
I was actually thinking exactly that. IIRC Aus played Bangladesh (3 ODI's) in 08 on those grounds just before touring India. So yea..Honestly, I did forget about the 08 tour. Scorched from the memory banks :P

Good to see a few cement ads around the ground in memory of our dear banned member Pratters
Was more referring to quick blokes who halve their run-up and bowl seam-up when the conditions don't suit all-out-pace. Seems to be a bit of a lost art. I know Kasper and Gillespie cut their run-ups a lot a few years ago but before that, the last was probably Marshall.I know he's hardly a proper seamer, but Collingwood bowls em pretty much exclusively now; seam up is his variation.
I love Ohja's action by the way; sucker for SLA bowlers with a nice high arm.
& Good morning Richie; morning everybody.
