*Official* Australia in India 2010

Makes sense that India have only two quicks in the side now.

Every single thing the players say on the field is echoing everywhere :(

This pitch better turn square. I'm hardly shocked no fans turn up to watch Test cricket when played on a pitch like this.

This could be either a 600+ or a no one gets above 200 pitch depending on how it behaves wicket-to-wicket.

Wow at the bounce. Bowl harbhajan now I reckon, **** wasting the energy of zaheer.

Maybe the sparseness of the crowd is also due to the peculiar venue. They got huge numbers for the second test against SA earlier in the year at a more popular one.

Very surprised to see Sharma with the ball. I'd have thought Sree to take the 2nd over.

Again, I don't think the lack of bounce means that much, the seam on Sharma's first ball was all over the place. Looks slow and low, yes, but I reckon it'll be relatively consistent.
Sree isn't playing India gone in with 2 spinners.

One of those days to cut the run-up and bowl cutters, tbh.

Genuine question; why does no-one do this any more?

Mohali is never like this tbf.

Weather and no time to prepare has ****ed up what is normally a good track.

Yeah was just about to say the one bowler I'd be dreading facing right now would be Johnson, tbh. Will be hard work for Bollinger but Johnson and Hilf will be dangerous.

Think scoring quickly will be difficult on such a slow pitch probably a test of patience as much as anything for the batsmen.
