Lucky lucky Aussies! If it hadnt rained the series could well have been over!

Before anyone says it... you didnt deserve the draw... England were superior the whole test match, including today.

So gutted but still think 2-1 or 3-1 are on the cards!

Well warne didnt get any wickets in the second ingings did he. I agree everyone should state their opinions but blaming one player miniutes after a match is just ridiculous.
What a lack of knowledge you have.

Firstly Warne was bowling to defensive fields and around the wicket for the whole innings in order to conatin and keep the run rate down. Giles had runs on the board to attack and win the match.

Warne was unlucky, Two missed stumpings, a drop by Gilchrist, a catch which hit the ground simultaneously off Vaughn, Lee caught not knowing whether to go backwards or forwwards to a catching chance. Strauss edging just past his stumps, was Giles?

What should I wait an hour? 2 hours? a day? What difference does it make?

Australia were unlucky at Edgbaston so this evens it out.

Best Series Ever.

It will be, especially if England win at TB but even more so if it's a draw.

An Aussie win ****s up the series, as we can't regain the Ashes.

You lucky boys, cheer that scrape of a draw like a win, suppose 3-1 isnt that bad :p

Martyn was out earlier anyway, noone appealed, so he got his fair share of luck. Apart from that id have given a hundred of those LBWs from my seat!!!! great umpiring, lets hope our weather doesnt save them again in Nottingham, might get the 5th day of that.

on a final note, Jones kept superbly.

cant blame gilo, he bowled the lion's share of the overs during the day, and as Australia were determined not to get out (well ponting was anyway) its pretty difficult to get those right handers. he should have bowled more around the wicket though.

yeah we could have won it ...............
Australia should have won at Edgbaston but for Kaspa getting a rough decision.

If Martyn hadn't been wrongfully given out here then who knows if they had been able to chase it down even

The right result prevailed, dispute it all you want, yes we were outplayed most of the match and it took something special to change the course of the match. Do not deny punters brilliant innings.

1. But Australia didnt win at Edgbaston...

2. Yeah well who knows...although pretty doubtful

Yeah you get outplayed two tests in a row... but only lose one... Yeah thats even!!!!!!!
They didn't get outplayed at Edgbaston.

There were two runs in it after Ponting gave England the gift of batting first on a road. WITHOUT MCGRATH

Warne should have been given a run, when it was rulled a dead ball on a no stroke and Langer apparently didn't run his bat in for another run.

That's all it came down to. That's not being outplayed.

If England played on a seamer's wicket do you think Harmison would be okay to bowl 26 wicketless overs without ever really looking like getting anyone out?

Now let's have some good old-fashioned English finger-pointing in the press tomorrow.
Don't have to wait for tomorrow; scaly-pisco got there already.

But, you're right, the English press will turn against a team that fell one wicket short of a classic victory even after losing most of a day's play to rain.

Nevertheless, just to repeat:

Best. Series. Ever.
