Well done Giles, you've cost us this game - not sure which set of genii were telling Harmison to bowl yorkers at McGrath, bowled one line and length ball and it shaved past his off stump.

What a performance!

I'm absolutely stoked. I'm not usually a very parochial fan, but I must say this series is making me one. Brilliant stuff from Lee again, and the best innings Ponting has ever played.

Unbelievable. It'll take a while for my heartbeat to get going again. Never thought before the series that Australia would be celebrating a third-Test draw, but what an incredible finish.

For all the criticism of Ponting this series, this is the happiest I've been during his tenure. He didn't quite make it to the end, but he gave us a sliver of a chance, and McGrath and Lee took it. Definitely player of the match.

So, so important in the context of the series.

YES. That has been driving me crazy for some time now.
me too , the commentators try and get in eralier to assure us its not another wicket but many a time have I almost spilt a beer over it.

Who takes more out of that match?

England for dominating but coming up short or Aus for escaping?

Can honestly say that's the first match where I couldnt bear to watch - stood out on the balcony with a beer hoping not to hear a roar.

Cliche, it's true, but that was a real captain's knock.

Superb effort to bat out the day. It was real brown trousers time when he was there with Warne, thought we might actually lose it.

Hope that doesn't move the momentum back to Australia.

I think this one is a draw in the truest sense of the word. Both teams fought evenly but couldn't get each other down on the table, nor will they have the feeling that they managed to do so.

Wow. And to think I missed chunks of this for a trip out in the local park with people I don't even know very well.
