Who takes more out of that match?

England for dominating but coming up short or Aus for escaping?

Can honestly say that's the first match where I couldnt bear to watch - stood out on the balcony with a beer hoping not to hear a roar.
I looked at the ground for at least three balls of Harmison's last over.

Well done Giles, you've cost us this game ...
Those grapes tasting sour enough?

Can't you at least say it was exciting? -- you know, fun? -- what cricket's meant to be about? -- stuff like that...

But no, gotta point the finger...

It really pee's me off that I've not really seen much of the series thus far. With the quality of the cricket it is really getting on my nerves at having to work, thus, not being able to watch.

I was initially skeptical about our chances, but I think that the Aussie's are on the ropes and I really think that they are there for the taking.

Australia were already robbed from one close game.

Bucknor and Bowden did their damnest to make it a repeat but Australia denied him and England.

Has to be a huge boost for Australia. Not only did they avoid a loss, but Austalia also made 371 runs on a 5th day pitch against reverse swing. That's a great effort, and would have gone a long way towards overcoming Australia's issues with this bowling attack.

Who knows much about Trent Bridge? Isn't it meant to be a bit of a seamer?

Should be a great fourth test.

Honestly, what are you talking about? There was one bad decision that went against Australia, and everything else was flawless. And, of those correct but marginal decisions, almost all of them were lbw shouts which could have been given but got turned down.

Why bother stating the obvious?

Perhaps we should just have page after page of people saying they enjoy cricket - on a cricket forum that would be really interesting wouldn't it?

That's twice Giles should have been looking at a 4/5 wicket match winning haul and he's been awful.

Exactly right, anything else is just bs.

SW is just ****ed because he's written Aus off from Day 1 of Test 1 and hates to be proven wrong.

Any guesses as to the Oz XI? I think Dizzy is gone, but has Hayden done enough to hang on? Poor show to be bowled behind his legs.

I didn't see much of his bowling, did Giles even create any chances?

Warne went wicketless in the second innings but could have easily had two or three.

Well warne didnt get any wickets in the second ingings did he. I agree everyone should state their opinions but blaming one player miniutes after a match is just ridiculous.

No, Hayden should definately go.

The only thing he's good at thesedays is a slip to Warne.

Judging by the scores, it's been pretty flat this season - plenty of draws, but that might have something to do with Notts' woeful bowling attack.

The trouble is now they only have to win 1 game and the convicts retain The Ashes. If England had won then that situation would have been in England's favour.

I agree. With the exception of the Martyn decision (which really was awful), you couldn't argue that Australia didn't get the better of the LBW calls today. There were numerous VERY close calls, and I reckon at least two of them would have been given out in most circumstances.
