Thought that was out, but since Warne didn't appeal three times I must have been way off.
LOL!

Australia should get two sub fielders on and get Hayden & Langer padded up so they can come out and bat straight away (if Australia ever get these last 3 wickets).

Err, you expect him to keep a second slip in for a leg spinner with Pietersen batting all the time?
Yep. Mark Taylor would definitely have kept a 2nd slip.

Also, stopping runs is important, but taking wickets is far more essential if Australia want to have any chance in the given situation underlying the importance of keeping more fielders in catching positions.

Also, why not the fine leg for Pieterson for Pieterson versus Lee? Ponting wants to save runs too then he would definitely need that fielder one would imagine!

If they do that, Langer and Hayden would not be allowed to open.

Yeah, I know, was just having an unsuccessful dig at England's tactics throughout the series.

LOL @ Artherton giving tips on playing Warne.

Silly me

Its time to start talking Man Of The Series. Flintoff in my opinion.

Even as great a bowler as Warne is, the captain has the final say in field placings.
You really think Ponting is going to say No to Warne?
He's got over 600 wickets, almost 40 in this series alone at an incredible average, has carried the team thus far and you say no?

Flintoff & Warne should share it. There are arguments for both, Without Flintoff England would not have been as effective, and without Warne Australia might have been beaten 5-0.
However, if Flintoff were to get it outright, it wouldn't be a travesty.
