suffice to say, absolutely brilliant day, more sunburn but wouldn't have missed it for the world, just didn't get teh ending id have liked. Flintoff & Jones were awesome and their reverse swing will definately come in handy this winter

What an day of the test this was, i was up at 7 hoping for something special from the aussies but hoping againts hope that England didn't win & boy it was just too much. Ricky Thomas Ponting, you Beauty :D this was the best test innings i have ever seen live no doubt, i thought he had blew it when he got out but in the end Lee got redemption after the disappointment at Edgbagston.

Steve Bucknor should hang up his boots now that was a horribel decision againts Martyn even from a side on view where i was in the pavillion you could have seen the f**King ball deflect of the edge unto the bad, jesus

Looking foward the Nottingham Australia will most likely bring in Kasper for Dizzy who i reckon has probably played his last test for Australia for a while, since i dont think the aussies have the resources to drop him permanently. I would love for Tait to play but i think Kasper bowled well enough in Birmingham for them to go for him. Matty Hayden also for me is probably about to play his last 2 tests....., if he doesn't get a hundred i wont be surprised at all if he is dropped for the coming home season, its only that much patients the selectors can take i remember Slater had failed to score a century for a while before he intially got dropped & i fear the same will happen with Hayden unless he comes up trumps in the next 2 tests.

I will never forget what say today so much emotion, i'll tell my grandkids about this one no doubt, i dont know about u people here but none of you could have felt more tension that me since i was right in the middle of it all hearing this football like crowd will England on. :p

Its 1-1, i feel that Australia batting if finally coming to terms, though i am severly worried about Katich & Gilchrist i really dont know how they are going to counter Flintoff at all after watching them today. Who ever wins in Nottingham will have a huge psychological advantage going into the Oval. I'll make a prediction i reckon Australia will win the series 3-1 now dont have any basis why i think so its just a gut feeling.

also all calls for Jones to be dropped for Read or Prior should be finished now he was superb today & that great catch to dismisss Warne was just wonderful & it had me stunned for a whole minute

Yeah but with a mere 6 or something overs to go? Surely you just leave it... it really was a pointless shot. Cant criticise an innings like that too much, he was superb, but having done all the hard work it should not have left it McGrath of all people.
All too easy from the comfort of one's living room, isn't it?

Shane Warne said:
Australia were already robbed from one close game.

Bucknor and Bowden did their damnest to make it a repeat but Australia denied him and England.
You really are the lowest of the low.

Ignore decisions that go your way then blame the umpires for a defeat.
