Finally managed enough words to get a Match Report together...
Uncertainty, delight, frustration, disbelief, incredulity, shock, amusement, relief, concern, positivity, wonder, despair, hope, expectation, awe, respect, intensity, reflection, edge, fear, amazement, petrification, horror, despair, ecstasy.

Yeah that about covers it Neil

Yeah, blame him for the loss...mature.
The batting display today makes Damien and Adam's performance all the more galling I'd suggest, from an Aus perspective? I guess that's how Gilly plays his cricket, but still.

Question for everybody: just suppose Warne had got injured instead of McGrath - would Australia have been worse off without him than they are without McGarth?

On that pitch, they were better off having McGrath injured in my opinion, rather than Warne. In the end, the bowlers weren't the real problem, I guess. There shouldn't have been as big a deficit after the first innings, and more should have been made of the 4th innings chase by the Top 7.

Definitely perhapsish.

Warne can turn a ball on wet glass, and is a constant danger.

McGrath, wonderful bowler that he is, relies on his metronomic ability to put the ball in the same place over and over and over and over in order to build up pressure. For him, it's a war of attrition, an exercise in patience.

Nah, blame the umpire, because his glove as off the bat.
True, but tricky to call that one without the benefit of eight replays which we have. Kasper "was" plumb earlier anyway.

Didn't blame him for the loss or else I would've said "It's your fault we lot Kasprowicz you so-and-so..." I was merely making a joke.

Ahhh I see, so that was not out too.
So did England actually take more than 2 wickets in this match? The rest seem to be down to shoddy umpiring, yes?

I don't understand how everyone is saying he was "plumb". Whether your just trying to wind up Shane Warne or not...

But to me, Ch 4 kept on freezing the ball after the initial contact with the pad was made, so then it was in line with the stumps (barely), but when it was initially hitting the pad, the ball hit him outside the line by a fair distance. And in real time, it looked well outside the line.

Be very, very careful - in future, all jokes have to be accompanied by a silly emoticon (doesn't matter which one) in brackets so that people can tell the difference.

( )
