It hit his bottom hand, which wasn't. C'est la vie...
all the tests have been sell outs for months, a pair for the first day at Lords would have set you back £700 on EbayBeleg said:Question: Was the ground jam-packed?
My thoughts exactly. Now that 10 minutes have passed, Im starting to feel more and more shattered. Kind of like Warney's stumps... *sob*Cloete said:AMAZING!!! But I'm still ****ing gutted
First time that england has strung a few good sessions together.. If australia did win it would have meant the team which was thouroughly dominated throughout the match would have won, and im sure england would have felt hard done by. Simonjones would have shot himself if england didnt win, one believesAdamc said:This match has demonstrated two things:
1) How hard it is to beat Australia;
2) How easy it is to beat Australia.
If anyone ever doubted Australia's ability to come back from any position, then surely coming back from 7-137 to within three runs of victory will have alleviated those doubts. On the other hand, both sides had long periods in this match in which they played very poorly, often coinciding with the other side playing very well, with entertaining results. England didn't have to play at or even near their absolute peak to win this match, but were able to win due mainly to periods of inspiration from the likes of Flintoff, Trescothick etc.
Sets up an exciting final three Tests either way.

lets all hope he forgets about Trent BridgeMcGrath said he expects to know within the next 48 hours whether he will take any further part in the series. He can now put his weight on his injured right ankle, but is still waiting for the result of scans, which will reveal the full extent of the damage.
“I accept I am out of the third Test, but have my sights set on the fourth at The Oval,” he said.
Dear oh dear, you just answered your own rhetorical question. That's quite a feat really, but only in the Warne kicking his own stumps sense.luckyeddie said:Really?
Do you honestly think that I would waste my time over a Geordie?
Haven't you got any cars to twoc?

Someone must've given him the message. By the sounds of it there is a fair chance he won't take part in the rest of the series at all.GD McGrath said:While I have more or less conceded it is highly unlikely I will be fit in time to play the third Test at Old Trafford, I still have my sights set firmly on the fourth Test at Trent Bridge.
For goodness sake, if you think I have just stepped out of line just by using the guy's name in the most innocuous manner of all, I really wonder what I AM allowed to say - and what I've just said to S_P will probably get me banned.James said:Eddie, can you please leave forum member 'Shane Warne' out of it.
