Flintoff's ugly birth mark is annoying me more than ever now.
Is that the "hole" on his head you're talking about? What the heck is that thing, anyway? I've never seen anything like it.

Is Pidgeon a chance for Old Trafford ?
very unlikely, but Australia should go in with the same side for OT, to bring in Tait or Macgill for that match will be too risky. I for one have to becareful on thursday how i support Australia or else someone in the ground might kill me

Freddie is coming home now i could just feel the intensity when he comes out to bat or has the ball in his hand, since he practically worshipped now at club

If you're old enough to remember the 5-0 whitewashes against the great West Indies sides, you surprise me. If you can remember the last whitewash in an Ashes series, you've invented time-travel
"I'm not interest[ed] in seeing England getting hammered 5-0 or whatever"

Can't help but feel you're really trying hard to score a point over me but haven't quite managed it yet.

in the paper today it said he's accepted he won't play at OT but is confident for Trent Bridge
Damn ... still, I reckon we can do it without him. Our batting just needs to fire for once ... bowling is solid enough

Jones rescues his test career for one more match.

Better team won.

Vic Othodox - take back everything you said about Lee's heart.
Happily.

I don't think I've ever looked like such a fool. Kudos to Lee.

You wouldn't believe it if it were fiction.

Question: Was the ground jam-packed?

How does this series bode for the future of crowds in test cricket in England?

For member Shane Warne's excuse book:

Channel 4 just played the slomo of Kasprowicz's dismissal - his hand wasn't on the bat, therefore it 'should' have been not out.

Mind you, they also showed that Freddie's earlier LBW shout was plumb.

Didnt it hit his top hand ie left hand which was on the bat?

to prove how good that test was being an aussie i am by no means dissapointed that we got done as it was such a great test, and how good is the ashes series an ambassador for test cricket through out. the 2 teams are remarkable and deserve every bit of credit they get, and to see a level series at 1 - 1 with 3 tests to go is great and i bet its only going to get better.............

and the winner is CRICKET!
