***Official*** Australia in England (The Ashes)

The Poms' heads are starting to hang a little low here, and they're fast reassuming that time-worn "why, god, why?" expression we all know so well. I hope luckyeddie has himself a large supply of home-brewed lager to drown his sorrows.

It's amazing how rapidly things have changed. The game looks pretty done and dusted at the moment. Pending the second innings, the only strong positives for the English at this point look to be Harmison's bowling in the first innings and Pietersen's debut. I've been really disappointed with Hoggard so far - I thought he would have a sizeable impact on the series. He must feel a right tool after his comments about Glen McGrath last week.

Just shows what an arrogant ***** he is. Such a stupid thing for an average at most player to say

What exactly did Hoggard say?
That McGrath was past it and Australia would struggle to bowl England out twice due to the age of their attack, and McGrath wouldn't make it through a five test series.
