I'm trying to decide how far up Dizzy's double ton ranks above James Franklin's hat trick against them.
Being an Aussie , I would say it ranks far far higher than any one else's ...

Can someone tell me where Jason Gillespie scored his runs because the only two shots I thought the guy could play was the leg glance and the forward defensive.

I haven't, but I have, for example, heard Mark Nicholas talk about how much Marshall wanted a century... and they did meet, and played together at Hampshire. He compared it to Shane Warne's desire for a test century, which is of course well known.
Fair enough Mate .

I see Bangladesh are travelling to New Zealand later this year, Chris Martin to get a double ton or more unrealistically one of the New Zealand top order to score more than 25?

His first century came largely through the covers. You're right about two of Gillespie's shots, but he also has a cover drive which is quite good, particularly against the spinners. The funny thing about his first century is that even though it was very slow it was quite elegant when he actually scored runs, because he hit about a dozen boundaries perfectly through the covers off the front foot. The leg glance came into it occasionally, mostly for singles. The forward defense was played around 250 times.

His second century was much more aggressive and he brought in the late cut, the slog over midwicket and even the pull shot a few times. There was also one orthodox cut shot that went for a boundary. He brought up the first ton with another cover drive, and the second one with a little flick fine down leg.

Or the holy grail of NZ cricket - a 50-run opening partnership.

Dare I dream?

50 for Shahriar Nafees, his had a good series and the way this is going Bangladesh might actually score some runs in a second innings of a test match.

Nafees has batted pretty well, pretty impressive series he has had. But don't want him to get a hundred tommorow.

That would be 2 tons againest Australia, but no one else! weird anin't it? To not score a ton at FC or OD level, but to do it againest Australia in a test! Twice!!

(wonder how much somers would be getting?)

On an unrelated note, it'll be interesting to see how much Gillespie gets here. I'm gonna say he'll make about 38, off say 150 balls, but he won't make his fifty.

After some of your posts in the last couple of days, I don't think you should be pointing any fingers, Dizzy.

Tushar Imran in for Manjural Islam Rana in the ODI squad:

Habibul Bashar (c), Khaled Mashud (wk), Javed Omar, Mohammad Rafique, Rajin Saleh, Mohammad Ashraful, Mashrafe Mortaza, Aftab Ahmed, Tushar Imran, Abdur Razzak, Alok Kapali, Shahriar Nafees, Shahadat Hossain, Syed Rasel

Can't see him making too many runs against the Aussies though.

Likely side:

1 Rajin Saleh
2 Shahriar Nafees
3 Aftab Ahmed
4 Habibul Bashar (c)
5 Mohammad Ashraful
6 Khaled Mashud (w)
7 Alok Kapali
8 Mohammad Rafique
9 Mashrafe Mortaza
10 Syed Rasel
11 Shahadat Hossain

No room for Javed, Rajin Saleh has been in decent touch. Kapali required for some additional bowling, Bangladesh really lack an all-rounder.

Ahem! Shahriar Nafees cracked 147 vs Durham for Bangladesh A in a OD game last summer. Besides, he's only played a handful of FC games outside Tests, and over two thirds of his one-day games have been in ODIs.
