Fmd can you link me up with something like that? I'm getting ripped off atm serious post btw

like I said I got lucky. Even the 3 other people above the shop pay above 200 a week. Mine is literally a shed on the roof, kinda like a 3rd story, renovated into a room. If I ever move out(a possibility) i'll hit you up if you want

haha, just be warned it is a very tiny room. can't handle the heat or the cold too well. All my friends know how much I pay and none have ever expressed interest in the room, if thats any indication of its low quality

but for a single guy who can survive in a small space and who wants to live in the heart of Sydney, you can't do much better

**** that's depressing. You could stay at a really nice house in a rural area for a similar price.

I guess you can always use a heater or fan but I get what you mean, hopefully I get full time work soon so I can afford a better place

Does not compute.
In Brisbane we consider the Sunshine and Gold Coasts as part of the city. There are 4 main Saturday/Sunday destinations - the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast hinterland and the gold coast hinterland.

I'm pretty sure I also read somewhere that rent prices in Sydney are "unaffordable" anywhere apart from like 50 minutes away from the CBD. Thank god I have rich parents.
Thats true, maybe not 50km but certainly at least 40km. Are you still studying morgie?

I thought Sunshine and Gold coast are the same thing, I've been to gold coast once and dont know whats special there except for the theme parks

The Gold Coast is where we send tourists, the sunshine coast is where the locals go. There are some awesome beaches at the sunshine coast, but avoid Maloolabah as it's the most packed beach and has the worst waves.

I broke my arm body surfing at Maloolabah and before the ambos arrived the life savers had plucked a tourist out of the water who had spinal damage. Dumpy waves into shallow water sucks. Caloundra/Noosa beaches are much better.
