It's a horrible city though. It really is. Best thing there is the Qantas Club at departures.

The climate is awful, the humidity is horrendous and there's nothing visually or culturally interesting about the place at all, apart from Lang Park.

Surely you can't mean this.

Melbourne is an ugly city to look at but a beautiful city to be in. If it had a harbour like Sydneys it would be just about perfect.

I don't mind Brisbane

Weather can be harsh but lots of good points

On the other hand, aside from a few areas, I can't stand Sydney and it's a photo finish between it and Melbourne for title of worlds most overrated joint

Melbourne to me feels like London done right Sydney feels like a slightly nicer LA. Brisbane feels like a big small town.

Come on. Brisbane ffs. There isn't even one decent restaurant, and the supposed best ones are all down on the fetid riverbank in that poor man's Darling Harbour (itself a horrible part of Sydney tbf).

Best value restaurant in Brisbane is at Flaxton on the sunshine coast. The Le Bressan has fantastic French food super cheap (3 courses for ~$30).

Except the average daily temperature for January (the hottest month) in Brisbane is 26

Do you actually believe that everything in Australia is; bigger, better, stronger, hotter???
Only thing in Australia that isn't bigger, better, stronger and hotter are English tourists and their women.

Sydney has some prestige and sights, good place to visit. But as far as having to live somewhere, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane are all superior to Sydney. That's taking into account things like housing prices, people not being complete ****s, etc.

Melbourne - bad climate but redeeming features such as architecture and food scene is ok. Properties barely less expensive than Sydney tbh.
Brisbane - hot, humid, turgid swamp with nothing going for it at all. Even their river is worse than the Yarra. Would rather eat my own vomit than live there.
Adelaide - only useful as a gateway to the Barossa Valley and for unusual murders. Otherwise, nothing happens there except for Eddie Betts.

More likely to get murdered in Sydney than Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide too.

Is that how you get rid of people you don't like?
