TBH, besides Amir, I'm not seeing the great potential upside with this Pak limited overs side. It's not like they're full of inconsistent young players who've had shockers mixed in with amazing performances (think of early Stuart Broad). They just seem to play very ordinary limited overs cricket, with some basics lacking, such as strike rotation, fielding, not pacing innings correctly etc. They've been consistently poor for a while now.

So little quality in the t20 Pakistan line up, Hafeez now he can't bowl is a very average player in this format, averaging less than 20 in the last few years while the less said about the inclusion of Manzoor the better.

Fielding and top-order batting are (like always) Pakistan's weaknesses. I am still very impressed with their lower-middle order batting and, of course, their bowling.
