***Official*** Asia Cup 2016

The key for Bangladesh now is to take this to the next step. They were at this stage in the 2012 Asia Cup as well and then they had the horrendous 2014 where they lost each and every game before winning some games against Zimbabwe at the end of the year.

The key is to start winning some key games in tournaments like targetting Australia and Pakistan in the up coming World T20.

Virat Kohli has a T20 batting avg of 52 overall and 84 when chasing.

These numbers are absolutely insane. I don't think T20 numbers are that talked about that's why it's hard to make much sense of this.

Glad to see the Dhoni of yore back. Was all 2011 when he hit that six in the last over. Also I am just amazed at the consistency of Virat Kohli. A bit worried also that he might have peaked too soon ahead of the World T20.

The best thing about this Indian team is the lack of reliance on any particular player, including Kohli. Someone or the other steps up always. In the finals, Rohit failed and Dhawan who was a tad out of form, stepped up immediately. Raina has had a quiet series but Yuvraj has ensured India didn't feel the pinch. Add to that the impact provided by Pandya in both disciplines. Also nice to see veteran Nehra stepping up. His opening spell in the first Bangladesh game was just jizzworthy.

Also a bit worried about the fact that India were never really tested in the whole tournament. Not even in the finals as demonstrated by the fact that despite this being a 90 ball game, India won with more than an over to spare and with 8 wickets in hand, chasing 8 per over.
