Geez, who was the bright spark who thought that having Rob Key in at number 3 was a good idea?

Let's see, Mark Butcher scores 50-odd in the First-Test, top-scores in the second innings with 40 runs out of 79 and what does the Englsh brains-trust do? Why, put him down to number 5!!!! What a great idea.........

Whatever happened to 'don't fix it if it ain't broke'??

Michael Vaughan sure got to his hundred in a hurry. Well played. Looks like the Adelaide deck is flat as pancake. What a surprise. :D

Aussie can't use the pitch as an excuse for England's success today so far.
Catches win matches and they have had plenty of oppurtunity. Like Richie Benaud said, the ball is spinning and bouncing well for Warne and there is a bit of seam movement for the bowlers. Time for the Aussies to start taking oppurtunities.

Your right there Sunil...
They couldn't catch a cold today...

Really should have taken all of them, none were that difficult...

Looks like he might just get the double hundred hes been after - hes on 177 as we speak.

Well there you go. Feel for Vaughan, well done Bichel - day probably finishes even now.

That was clearly a catch, and IMO there was no doubt that he was out!!!!!
What are you moaning about, you got him in the end! It's about time we had some luck. Watch out for one of the bowlers tripping over the rope as they enter the field at the start of the Aussie innings and breaking their leg!

well... I think England could easily lose their advantage. If you think about it they dont have all that much batting to come do they. England seems to have a long tail. A couple of wickets and Aussie could take over.

Hehe :baddevil: and I take great pride in jinxing it! Just when we needed a wicket too!

I'd say the game hangs in the balance, the first session Friday will decide the Test.

If ENGLAND don't lose a wicket it could be an England win (although I can't see them bowling Australia out twice)

If England lose 4 or five or even all six wickets it could be another rout.

OH NO.......... DROPPED!!!!! WHERE'S MARK WAUGH??? MARK, WHERE ARE YOU MARK???? WE NEED MARK!!! MMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRKKKK!!!!!!"

Catches win matches, ladies and gentlemen - so where's the best catcher in the game when you need him??? Playing backyard cricket with some pussies down in Tasmania. If Mark was playing, I reckon England would be 7 or 8 down by stumps....

Now another ridiculous call, Andy Bichel should be ashamed of himself for even trying to claim that catch...
That is why we get these stupid video decisions and Batsman never walk.. He should be dropped for unsportsmanlike behaviour...
:(!:(!:(!:(!
Or is that just an excuse to get Lee back in ;)

Your forgetting the rule: Michael Vaughan may get a big hundred but never pass 200...still a great innings though :) You make your own luck as they say...

I hate that rule, that was clearly out for mine. I hope Vaughan rwalises that Aussie crowds arent very forgiving for incidents like that, and he will cop it for the rest of the summer.
I really doubt he cares much, he's got 177 and thats something no one can take away from him. Anyway since when have the Aussie crowds started being nice to the English team anyway?
