Coach's Comments:
Fine fighting spirit again, but the boys from Durham fought back manfully and made a game of it. Dave was by far the pick of the bowlers in this match with his second career 5w haul. Battingwise, Bugssy and Craig provided the real impetus, but it was Age Master's captain's knock in the second innings which kept order and guided the draw shut. Still searching for that first FC win...

Very dissapointing not to win after the position we have them in 9 down in the first innings... the batting as a team was very disspointing in the 2nd innings.. at least we didn't lose, our form this tour is not making it as easy as we anticipated.

it was ice to get a few runs myself though :)

With the departure of Ash Chaulk, C Buts, Master Blaster and Bugssy from the A tour, the following adjustments will be made:

Broncoman joins FC A team.
Peter Young will be the reserve wicketkeeper behind Sam Vimes, but will not be obligated to play any of the matches. In other words, PY will be the injury backup.
Tom Halsey, Xavier Rose and Jason Toogood slip into the OD and FC squads.

That's 5 players for the price of 4.

just like to say keep going the boys, and do us proud of what has been a pretty good start to the tour, hopefully once the onde day games have finished we can come back and finish of the tour with the a side if its still going.

Slow, you are. :p

(although proper cricket wasn't actually a reference to Essex - I think I meant that the next match was a 4-day and not a slogging effort)
